Ami has extensive experience establishing and investing in global technology companies, such as Xosoft (M&A by NASDAQ:CA); Shellcase (M&A by NASDAQ:TSRA); and GalyOr (M&A by Memscap). He has been a hands-on investor of six IPOs, including JinkoSolar (NYSE:JKS), which achieved a market cap of over $1.5B (USD); WLCSP-Wafer Level Chip Scale Packaging (SSE:603005), which achieved a market cap of over $2B (USD); CMT Medical (CMT.LN); 3NOD (KOSDAQ:3NOD); Voltaire (NASDAQ:VOLT); and Scopus (NASDAQ:SCOP). He is a Board Officer in the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA). Prior, he was the VP of Strategy at Rafael, Israel MOD’s leading Research and Development center. Ami achieved a B.Sc.EE from The Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (NYU) and an MBA from Long Island University.

David Barzilai
Executive Chairman & Co-Founder
David is a serial entrepreneur with go-to-market executive experience, with a track record of major increases of shareholders value. David serves as Karamba Security’s Executive Chairman and running the company’s go-to-market strategy. Before Karamba David served as VP Marketing at Mellanox (MLNX) enabling revenue growth from $260M to $500M. David joined Mellanox after its acquisition of Voltaire (VOLT), where he was VP Software; managing software sales from $0.5M to $6.5M in one year. Prior to that David was VP at Mercury Interactive (MERQ), signing world largest ISPs as OEMs. David joined Mercury, after it acquired his first company, Conduct, yielding returns of 22X and 6X to its investors. Before Conduct David was a sales executive at Sun Microsystems distributor in Israel, bringing it to be the largest UNIX company in Israel by revenues ($35M) and by market share (42%). Before that David was a software engineer at Amdocs (DOX). David has earned BA in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Tal Ben-David
VP R&D & Co-Founder
Tal is experienced in developing new, innovative products into viable, market-changing products. He was a Senior Research and Development (R&D) Manager at Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ:CHKP), where he oversaw endpoint and mobile security technology development. Prior, he gained extensive cybersecurity experience overseeing the development of Check Point’s big data analytics and event correlation solutions. Before moving into private enterprise, Tal served in an elite technological unit with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). He received a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Statistics (Cum Laude) from the Bar-Ilan University.

Assaf Harel
Chief Scientist & Co-Founder
Assaf has broad experience with embedded networking, security and mobile technologies. Assaf leads the research & innovation activities in Karamba that matured to a vast IP portfolio of innovative products and services with a patent portfolio of forty patents. Prior to co-founding Karamba Security, Assaf was a Senior Research and Development Manager at Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ:CHKP), where he oversaw the development of Check Point’s endpoint and mobile security technologies. Before that, he held software development positions at Metalink (acquired by Infineon) and Dune Networks (acquired by Broadcom). Assaf served as an officer in the elite intelligence unit of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
Assaf has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Haifa University.

Idit Mor
CFO
Idit has 20+ years of extensive financial and transactional experience that helps organizations build financial-reporting systems and execute their business plans. She began with an internship at Ernst & Young and continues with work at public companies, at capital funds, and in the high-tech industry. She has managed financial departments for 10 years, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, governance and compliance, and transactional and legal due diligence, including two IPOs (TSE and AIM). In addition, she serves as Director with financial expertise in an audit committee (ACFE). Idit earned a B.A. and CPA at Ruppin Academic Center, is a graduate of Tel Aviv University’s Executive Directors program, and has certification in Organizational Consulting from Bar-Ilan University.

Amir Einav

Amir adds to the Karamba leadership extensive international experience in product and marketing leadership. In the past 10 years at HP, and previously at Comverse, he led cybersecurity products (HPE ArcSight) and telecommunication offerings on a global scale, building an effective Product2Market value chain and leading multiple successful product introductions and portfolio extensions. He received a BA in management and economics from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Ofer Schreiber (YL Ventures)
Ofer Schreiber, Partner and Head of the Israeli Office at YL Ventures, has broad responsibilities across portfolio company management, portfolio company value-add, and investment due diligence.
Ofer currently serves as a board member of Karamba Security (automotive cybersecurity), Ride Vision (advanced driver assistance systems for two-wheeled vehicles), and Vulcan Cyber (continuous vulnerability remediation). He also serves as board observer of Medigate (cybersecurity for medical devices), and Twistlock (virtual container security).
Ofer served as a board observer of Hexadite (automated cyber incident response) until it was acquired by Microsoft and FireLayers (security, compliance and IT governance for cloud applications and data) until it was acquired by Proofpoint. Ofer joined the firm in 2009, coming from IVC Research Center where he spent nearly three years researching and analyzing the technology and venture capital industry. While at IVC, he specialized in the telecommunications, Internet and mobile sectors and also conducted research relating to investment firms.
Ofer holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Tel Aviv University. He served in an elite technological unit of the Intelligence Corps in the Israel Defense Forces.

Chris Stallman (Fontinalis Partners)
Chris Stallman is a Partner at Fontinalis Partners, a mobility-focused venture capital firm with $170 million of committed capital and offices in Detroit, Boston, and San Francisco.
Chris leads investments on the firm’s behalf primarily in the automotive technology and supply chain & logistics segments, and is active with the boards of Karamba Security, FreightWaves, Synovia Solutions, and AVRL. Additionally, he previously led Fontinalis’ investment in—and served on the board of—TransLoc until its sale to Ford Motor Company in 2018.
Chris is based in Detroit and serves on a variety of committees for state organizations, including the MTRAC Innovation Hub for Advanced Transportation and the Michigan Venture Capital Association.

Neil Schloss (Independent)
From July 2016 until he retired at year-end 2018, Mr. Neil M. Schloss was VP and Chief Financial Officer of Mobility at Ford Motor Company where he was part of the founding team that started and built the company's mobility businesses. Prior to that, from March 2007 through August 2017, Mr. Schloss was VP and Corporate Treasurer with overall responsibility for Ford’s global treasury operations. As Treasurer, he managed a team of 300+ professional around the world.
He joined Ford in 1982 as a Finance professional in the controller's office in Ford Aerospace. He held a variety of positions in Aerospace before transferring to Ford in 1990. Prior to becoming Treasurer in 2007, he served in a variety of Treasury related assignments, including Capital Markets, Risk Management, International Financing, Investor Relations, Cash Management, Capital and Balance Sheet Planning, and Financial Strategy.
Mr. Schloss earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from San Diego State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
