It is the latest in a long line of accolades for Karamba Security, which provides embedded, deterministic security for automotive, Industry 4.0, enterprise edge, and IoT connected systems.
After winning the “Best Cybersecurity Product for the Automotive Industry” award two years in a row, Karamba Security on Thursday was awarded TU-Automotive’s Industry Choice 2019 award, at the close of this year’s conference in Detroit.
The award marks three straight years in which Karamba Security has won a major award at one of the automotive industry’s biggest events.
It is the latest in a long line of accolades for Karamba Security, which provides embedded, deterministic security for automotive, Industry 4.0, enterprise edge, and IoT connected systems. For connected automobiles, Karamba’s enables “self-defending” vehicles, which are sealed against attempts to override the vehicle’s factory settings. The award is a recognition that cybersecurity is key in mass adoption of connected and autonomous cars.
“We are proud and honored to receive such great recognition”, said Ami Dotan, Karamba Security CEO and co-founder.
“Becoming the Industry Choice for 2019 is an acknowledgement that the automotive industry views in-vehicle cybersecurity - and technology like our that automatically hardens vehicle ECUs - as key to its business goal of delivering connected and autonomous cars without compromising safety due to cyberattacks.”
Karamba Security’s market leadership has been acknowledged by Gartner as 2018 Cool Vendor for IoT Cybersecurity, and in early 2019, Forbes named Karamba one of 25 companies to watch in 2019.
